MUSIC OFF / VOLUME

   Playing baseball can be a challenge for anyone with a
   mental or physical disability. The Amherstburg Miracle
   League baseball diamond is custom designed with a
   cushioned synthetic turf that accommodates wheelchairs
   and walking devices. This surface helps prevent injury.
   In other words, it provides a level-playing field where    physically and mentally challenged children and adults
   can hit, run and catch - just like the best of them.

Every player bats once each inning
All players are safe on the bases
Every player scores a run before the inning is over
(last one up gets a home run)
Community children and Adults serve as volunteers
‘buddies’ to assist the players
Each team and each player wins every game

   Hundreds of dedicated players, parents, coaches,
   buddies, fans and volunteers come together on each
   game day to support, encourage and inspire each other.
   A Miracle then happens - everyone is included and
   diversity is embraced.
